Jensen Huang's Signed Leather Jacket Sells for $960,000, 16 Times Estimated Value

According to Beating monitoring, a black leather jacket by Tom Ford, worn and signed by Jensen Huang, sold for $960,000 at a Sotheby's charity auction. The jacket was previously estimated to fetch between $40,000 and $60,000, ultimately reaching 16 times the highest estimate. Huang wore this jacket during the 2023 Foxconn Technology Day. The authenticity of the jacket was confirmed by an appraisal agency through on-site photos, and the signature on the inside of the jacket was also professionally verified. The black leather jacket has become one of Huang's most recognizable personal trademarks. This auction was initiated by the venture capital firm Long Journey Ventures, with proceeds going to the nonprofit Edge Institute to support young entrepreneurs and researchers.
