On April 28, a senior military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader questioned the United States' ability to block the country's oil exports. Military advisor Rezaei stated, "No country has the power to block Iran's oil exports. I suggest that the U.S. President focus on addressing the widespread chaos within the U.S. government, economy, and armed forces, rather than making empty boasts." Last week, the U.S. Central Command announced that as part of the blockade operations, U.S. military forces had redirected 30 vessels.
