Founder of The Dark Side of the Moon: Chinese technology should not only be easy to use, but also participate in rule-making.

on January 10, Yang Zhilin, founder and CEO of AI large model unicorn Moon's Dark Side (Kimi), talked about Kimi's future development plans. Yang Zhilin stated that multiple Chinese open-source models have already become industry testing standards, and "Chinese technology not only needs to be easy to use but also participate in setting the rules." Regarding the AI safety concerns of the public, Yang Zhilin shared: "AI may be the key for humanity to explore the unknown, helping us conquer cancer, solve the energy crisis, and explore the universe. Although there are risks, giving up development is equivalent to giving up the upper limit of human civilization." He said the team will continue to make breakthroughs while ensuring risk control and plans to successively launch the K4, K5, up to the K100 series models in the next ten to twenty years.
