Ledger stated that the related implants could transmit user recovery phrases via cellular networks and is investigating reports beyond CryptoBilis. Former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpelès claimed that a Ledger Flex he purchased at Singapore airport contained a spy implant; Ledger responded that users should refer to the latest CryptoBilis investigation updates but did not directly address the Singapore case or confirm the existence of tampered devices in Europe.
