On May 2, the Ethereum Foundation released a summary of the Soldøgn Interop Recap event. At the end of April 2026, over 100 Ethereum core developers participated in the Soldøgn interoperability event, focusing on the upcoming Glamsterdam network upgrade. The event achieved three core objectives: establishing the gas limit lower bound at 200M after the upgrade, ensuring ePBS operates stably across multiple clients (supporting external builders), and setting the gas repricing parameters for EIP-8037. Progress was also made in optimizing block access lists, making decisions on multiple Glamsterdam EIPs, and laying the groundwork for future features such as FOCIL for Hegotá and native account abstraction. Through intensive coding, stress testing, and breakout discussions, the team successfully built a stable devnet, resolved numerous cross-client edge issues, and optimized state growth control and execution efficiency, providing reliable data support for enhancing throughput security.
