  • Tom Lee: Next Crypto Bull Market Expected to be the Largest in History, Bitmine Stock Outperforms ETH in Bear Market

On October 12, Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, stated that he believes the next round of the crypto bull market is likely to become the largest in history. The main driving forces include asset tokenization, intergenerational wealth transfer, digital asset treasury companies continuously absorbing market supply, and the crypto industry benefiting from the development of artificial intelligence as a downstream sector of the AI industry chain. Lee believes that the ongoing wealth transfer will bring more funds into the crypto market; since the group inheriting wealth is relatively young, their risk appetite for crypto assets and stocks may be higher. This trend may have a greater impact in this cycle than during the 2019-2021 bull market. He also pointed out that although the crypto market is expected to be in a bear market during 2025-2026, Bitmine's stock performance is still expected to outperform ETH. With changes in the macro environment and the crypto market entering a new cycle, he believes the company is well-prepared for a potential bull market.

The company has staked 5.067309 million ETH, valued at approximately $12.9 billion according to the announcement, which represents about 84% of its total ETH holdings. After all of its held ETH is staked through MAVAN and partners, the annualized staking income is expected to reach about $400 million, based on the current 2.61% seven-day yield.
