Aptos Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Japanese Payment Service Provider NETSTARS

On May 8, Aptos announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Japanese QR code payment gateway service provider NETSTARS. The two parties will jointly explore Web3 payment applications, including stablecoin payments, with a focus on studying the feasibility of integrating Aptos blockchain infrastructure into NETSTARS' existing cashless payment system, with multi-chain payments as one of the key directions. NETSTARS' 'StarPay' has already integrated various domestic and international payment methods, serving the Japanese merchant market.
