According to Beating AI news, Ant Group's AI assistant Lingguang is currently in a limited beta test for its personal agent feature, aligning more closely with Meta Muse. The new version introduces a 'My Life' page, focusing on long-term memory and proactive task execution. Users can have it continuously monitor product prices, follow up on travel plans, and manage vaccination reminders, with notifications triggered by any changes. This upgrade also supports connections to external applications and smart devices. Cyber Zen demonstrated that Lingguang connected to 13 devices at home by installing an open-source Mi Home interface. It generated a household device manual and successfully called a Xiaomi printer to complete a print job. The new version can also integrate services like DingTalk through Skill and MCP (a protocol for connecting external tools). Related features have been in development for about six months, undergoing multiple iterations, with plans for a full rollout in October this year. Previously, Lingguang mainly offered AI conversation and simple application generation features, but it is now evolving into a personal intelligent agent that continuously assists users.
