AI+Web3 New Year Research Exchange Successfully Concluded

On the afternoon of January 5, 2024, AI+Web3 New Year Research Exchange was successfully held at Yuan Valley · Hangang Technology Building in China. The event was cosponsored by Web3 Labs, Blue Run, and AI Focus, guided by Shangcheng District Stateowned Capital Operation Group Co., Ltd., and supported by ND Cloud, iPollo, and others. Mr. Lai Jianbo, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC) of Shangcheng District, attended the event and delivered a speech. Leaders from Shangcheng District National People's Congress Finance and Economics Working Committee, Shangcheng District Science and Technology Bureau, Shangcheng District People's Representative Office, and Shangcheng Capital also participated.

Mr. Lai Jianbo, Deputy Director, mentioned in his speech that AI represented by large models and Web3 industry represented by blockchain applications are developing rapidly, which will promote the acceleration of a new round of technological and industrial revolutions and will eventually become an important force to promote innovation, stimulate growth and improve people's livelihood. At present, Shangcheng District is accelerating the development function conversion, and it needs to play the empowering effect of AI, Web3, etc., and the strong support of the investment community. It is hoped that major venture capital institutions will play their unique advantages of advanced consciousness and keen sense of smell, strive to form a larger scale and higher quality supply of innovation capital, and introduce more innovative talents and high-end projects into Shangcheng District.

Mr. Kong Jianping, Founder of Nano Labs, Mr. Ren Zheng, Asian Partner of Japan's CGV Fund, and Cofounder of Hong Kong's AIFocus Accelerator, and other guests, combined their respective industry research and investment practices, and shared their insights on the opportunities of AI and Web3, AIFocus's investment and  acceleration, and other topics.

In addition, the exchange also focused on three roundtable discussions on AI and Web3 industry. Guests expressed their views and opinions on how AI✖Web3 leads industrial transformation, the solutions of AI✖Web3 in each track, and investment in the new era.

It is believed that in the near future, AI+Web3 track will present a more diversified development landscape, provide users with comprehensive services, and offer its own industry power for the coming paradigm shift of humanity.

  • Russia Develops 150nm Lithography Machine, Performance Comparable to Pentium 4 from 20 Years Ago

    On July 22, according to Fast Technology, Russia's Green City Nanotechnology Center (ZNTC) has successfully developed a prototype of an electron beam lithography machine (ELL) with a design standard of 150nm. The project is a key research and development task under the framework of Russia's national plan for scientific and technological development, codenamed Progress ELL 150. This device is mainly used for manufacturing photomasks, and can also directly draw circuit patterns on substrates without using masks. The 150nm process roughly corresponds to the performance level of Intel's Pentium 4 from 20 years ago. In 2025, ZNTC demonstrated a similar device with 350nm resolution, and has now advanced to 90nm and 130nm technology nodes. Industry experts point out that such equipment is only suitable for small batch production of specialized chips in fields such as aerospace and defense.
