On May 30, CCN reported that an anonymous user used the Ordinals protocol to write the full text of the U.S. Constitution into the Bitcoin blockchain, with a transaction fee of 113,454 satoshis, approximately $83. The transaction size was about 44.4 KB and was confirmed at 20:25 UTC on May 28, recorded at Bitcoin block height 951,492. CCN noted that in January 2025, Bitcoin mining company Marathon Digital also merged the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and a portrait of Trump into a single inscription, costing 1.244 BTC.
