- The testnet launch event of AO is hosted by Arweave ecosystem incubator Forward Research and starts at 2:00 AM Beijing time on February 28.
- AO is a super parallel computer, a decentralized computing environment that utilizes Arweave's scalable on-chain storage as its permanent host to store data during execution, allowing arbitrary number of processes to run simultaneously.
- AO consists of three subnets: Messenger Unit, Scheduler Unit, and Compute Unit.
