Tether Transfers 204.3 BTC Worth Approximately $14.36 Million to Bitfinex

According to on-chain analyst Yu Jin (@EmberCN), Tether's BTC reserve address transferred 204.3 BTC, worth approximately $14.36 million, to Bitfinex three hours ago. Since 2023, the address has been continuously purchasing BTC using 15% of the company's profits, currently holding a total of 96,936 BTC, valued at approximately $6.72 billion, making it the fifth-largest BTC wallet. Based on the price at the time of withdrawal from Bitfinex, the average purchase price for this batch of BTC is around $51,312, currently yielding an unrealized profit of approximately $1.75 billion.
