By 2025, China's economic volume is expected to reach 140.2 trillion yuan, nearing the combined total of the world's third to seventh largest economies. In terms of growth rate, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China's economy grew at an average annual rate of 5.4%, significantly higher than the global growth rate of around 3.7%, ranking among the top in major economies.
