Pro-crypto Republican Congressman Tom Emmer seeks nomination to become House Speaker

According to Golden Finance News, cryptocurrency supporter and Republican Congressman from Minnesota, Tom Emmer, is seeking the nomination to become the Speaker of the House. A Republican source who is familiar with the situation confirmed to the media outlet MPR News that Emmer has started reaching out to Republican members of the House about his candidacy for Speaker. It is noted that no Minnesota congressman has ever held such a high position in the US House of Representatives. Emmer is reportedly the co-chair of the Congressional Blockchain Caucus and during his time as chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, he promoted cryptocurrency donations to the committee.
