According to a source confirmed by media outlet Decrypt, Coinbase is working with the CFTC to determine which trading data can be shared.

Previously, several foreign media outlets reported that Coinbase recently received a subpoena related to cryptocurrency exchange Bybit. A source confirmed to Decrypt that Coinbase did indeed send an email related to the subpoena to its customers this week, but did not specify what specific information the CFTC requested, the relationship between this information and Bybit, or how many customers may be affected by the subpoena.

In the letter to affected customers, Coinbase wrote that it may file a protest to the subpoena before the November 30 deadline, and reports suggest that the company is working to limit the scope of shared data as much as possible.
