Maple Finance's community supports a proposal to terminate SYRUP staking and switch to a token buyback model based on income.

Under this new plan, Maple Finance will stop providing staking rewards for SYRUP tokens and instead increase token value through a token buyback mechanism driven by project income, achieving long-term stability and tying token value to actual platform performance.

According to data from Snapshot, the proposal (MIP-019) was announced on October 28th and currently has over 91% support from the Maple (SYRUP) community. The final vote will end on October 31st.
