imToken: is communicating with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and clarifying its business model in order to be removed from the investor alert list

imToken has responded to being included on the investor alert list by the Monetary Authority of Singapore on the X platform: "imToken is a non-custodial Web3 wallet that provides decentralized wallet services to global users, including Singaporean users. As imToken is headquartered in Singapore and has not yet applied for a financial business license in Singapore, the Monetary Authority of Singapore has included imToken on the Investor Alert List (IAL).

As a decentralized wallet, imToken is different from centralized custodial services. We are currently actively communicating with the Monetary Authority of Singapore to clarify the difference in our business model in order to have imToken removed from the investor alert list."

Earlier today, according to information on the Monetary Authority of Singapore's official website, imToken was included on the Investor Alert List on December 5, 2023.
