Focusing on Distributed AI Computing Ecosystems, NEXUS 2140 Showcases AI · Web3 · Cross-border E-commerce at International Immersion Event

Cointime Official

Recently, the Bangkok headquarters of Data Global hosted a multinational industry event focused on distributed AI computing. Iris Xu, Executive Vice Chair of NEXUS 2140, was invited to attend the immersion event. Together with over 80 industry representatives from more than ten countries including India, South Korea, and the Philippines, she engaged in in-depth discussions around “the emerging global landscape of distributed AI cluster computing,” and presented the innovative ecosystem and strategic value of the NEXUS 2140 Global Expo to international guests.

During the event, Iris Xu first expressed appreciation for Data Global’s technological breakthroughs in integrating global decentralized computing resources and building ultra-large-scale computing clusters. She pointed out that as AI technology continues to penetrate core industrial scenarios, computing power has become the key driver of the next wave of industrial upgrades. The explosive demand for computing power in countries such as India, South Korea, and the Philippines aligns well with a globalized computing infrastructure layout. She further noted that NEXUS 2140, as the world’s first international expo platform integrating AI, Web3, and cross-border e-commerce, is accelerating the aggregation of global innovation resources, facilitating the commercialization of computing power, and building a multi-dimensional collaborative bridge for the technology ecosystem.

As the largest cross-industry expo ever held in South Korea, NEXUS 2140 brings together three trillion-dollar industries—AI, Web3, and cross-border e-commerce—achieving deep integration and presenting a comprehensive vision for the future of digital business. Its core strengths and strategic positioning are clear: on the technology front, the expo highlights frontier applications such as AI-powered medical imaging diagnostics, Web3 DeFi finance, and blockchain-based cross-border e-commerce supply chains, showcasing new business forms driven by technology convergence. The deep synergy between AI and Web3 has become a highlight: blockchain enables AI with trusted data infrastructure through decentralized storage and privacy computing (e.g., privacy-preserving sharing of medical data across institutions); smart contracts empower AI with automated decision execution (e.g., closed-loop traffic scheduling); and AI on-chain analytics (e.g., DeFi risk monitoring) combined with Web3 digital asset verification (e.g., NFT-based IP management) are giving rise to a new paradigm of “trustworthy AI.”

On the industrial foundation side, South Korea benefits from the world’s leading crypto adoption rate, rich blockchain patent reserves, and active deployments in NFTs and metaverse platforms by giants such as Samsung, LG, and SK. The government’s designation of “Web3.0 Economic Zones” offers tax incentives, R&D subsidies, and transparent financial regulation, supporting compliant business implementation. Recently, a leading South Korean presidential candidate proposed launching a KRW-pegged national stablecoin to reduce dependence on USD stablecoins and curb capital outflow. This strategic signal is expected to create a more stable environment for the development of Web3 and AI applications.

In terms of resource aggregation, the expo brings together over 500 exhibitors, 30,000–50,000 professional attendees, more than 150 investment institutions, and over 3,000 global KOLs. Participants from 16 countries and regions are expected, with concurrent activities facilitating government-business connections and celebrity-driven exposure—offering full-spectrum support for the real-world adoption of computing technologies.

This event has not only elevated the international visibility of NEXUS 2140, but also opened new pathways for cross-industry collaboration between the computing ecosystem and expo platform. Moving forward, NEXUS 2140 will continue to serve as a connector in the global digital economy, gathering more technological pioneers and industrial resources, promoting the deep integration of AI, Web3, cross-border e-commerce, and computing infrastructure, and creating more innovation opportunities for global enterprises amid the digital wave—driving the industry toward a more efficient, open, and sustainable future.
