'I think it will automatically reopen, but my attitude is that I have destroyed this country, and those who use the strait should reopen it themselves... because I believe those who control the oil will be very willing to reopen the strait.' When asked about a Wall Street Journal report suggesting he would be willing to end the war without the strait being reopened, Trump replied, 'To be honest, I don't think about those things. My only mission is to ensure they do not have nuclear weapons. They will not have nuclear weapons. When we leave, the strait will automatically reopen.'
