Trump's approval rating drops to historic low

according to the website of the American "Newsweek" on June 28, the latest poll by "Newsweek" shows that the approval rating of US President Trump has dropped to a historic low. The survey shows that 43% of Americans are currently satisfied with Trump's performance, while 53% are dissatisfied, with a net approval rating of -10%. The report said that this was a 3 percentage point drop from the previous day, when his net approval rating was -7%. This is also his lowest net approval rating since April 29. According to reports, Trump's poll numbers initially plummeted after he announced "Liberation Day" tariffs in April this year. Although his approval rating quickly rebounded, his recent actions seem to have reignited public dissatisfaction with the White House. This includes his decision to deploy the National Guard and Marines to Los Angeles to suppress protests, as well as ordering airstrikes on three nuclear facilities in Iran last weekend - a majority of voters oppose the airstrikes. Since then, surveys show that Trump's approval rating has dropped to a record low. The report pointed out that several other polls also show that Trump's approval rating has dropped to a new low since his second term. The latest poll conducted by the Yugo Survey Company/The Economist from June 20 to 23 on 1590 adults showed Trump's net approval rating at -14%. Similarly, a new poll conducted by the Red-bellied Gray Finch Group on 1223 adults from June 17 to 20 showed his net approval rating at -13%. The latest polls by Ipsos Group/Reuters and the American Research Group also show that Trump's net approval rating has hit a new low in his second term. (Global Times)
