Trish Turner, head of the digital assets department of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), announced her resignation after only three months in office. She posted on LinkedIn on Friday: After more than 20 years of service at the IRS, I am putting a period to this extraordinary career, sincerely thanking all those who have shaped my professional path and given meaning to my work.
We have collectively faced complex challenges, established long-term projects, and laid the foundation for the IRS strategy as digital assets move from the periphery to the mainstream. Turner's resignation comes just over three months after she was appointed to lead the digital assets department earlier this May.
