As of the end of September 2025, the cumulative transaction amount in pilot areas reached 14.2 trillion yuan. It is understood that currently, the digital RMB pilot covers 26 regions in 17 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities), and has formed replicable and scalable application models in areas such as wholesale and retail, public services, social governance, and rural revitalization.
