SOLOWIN, a digital asset financial company listed on Nasdaq, announced that it has reached a equity investment agreement with GPL Remittance, a cross-border payment institution in Singapore, to acquire 19% of its equity. The specific investment amount has not been disclosed yet, and the latter currently holds a major payment institution (MPI) license issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Earlier news, SOLOWIN has announced the joint launch of a $100 million Bitcoin quantitative fund, which will use data-driven algorithmic trading strategies to invest in Bitcoin.
