Davis Commodities, a Singapore company listed on the Nasdaq, announced the launch of a digital asset treasury strategy and a blockchain-driven agricultural tokenization platform, which converts major physical commodities such as sugar, rice, and edible oil into tokenized, tradable digital assets. The platform is based on smart contract settlement and supports on-chain supply chain tracking, as well as tokenized collateral, allowing institutional lenders to collateralize tokenized commodities.
Davis Commodities previously announced a $30 million strategic growth plan, with 40% to be invested in Bitcoin reserves to include it as a strategic financial asset on the balance sheet.
