Lotte Card applies for trademark rights for Korean won stablecoin, covering 36 brand names and codes

according to Yonhap News Agency, Lotte Card Company has applied for 36 Korean won stablecoin related trademarks, including brand names and codes. The applied trademarks include "WONBIT", "KTOKEN", "LOCAMONEY", etc.

The company stated that the Korean won stablecoin will be widely used in high-value asset transactions such as used cars, luxury goods, real estate, gold, etc.
