On March 20th, Cointelegraph reported that EtherFi, an Ethereum liquid restaking platform, has allocated $25 million to Plume's real-world asset protocol, Nest, to directly integrate tokenized RWA yields onto its platform. In the initial phase, these funds will be allocated to Plume's nBASIS vault, which is linked to Superstate's USCC crypto arbitrage fund. Future plans include the direct addition of dedicated RWA vaults within the EtherFi interface. This integration will provide EtherFi's user deposits, exceeding $6 billion, with exposure to RWAs. Unlike traditional DeFi yields, RWA strategies generate returns from cash flows such as interest from government securities and lending activities.
