Clearstream, the post-trade division of Deutsche Boerse, announced that it will start providing cryptocurrency settlement and custody services for institutional clients in April this year.

According to a statement released by Clearstream on March 11, the company plans to provide Bitcoin and Ethereum services to its 2500 clients through its subsidiary Crypto Finance as a secondary custodian. Clearstream also plans to expand support for other cryptocurrencies in the future, as well as provide services such as collateral, lending, and brokerage.
