BTQ and ICTK have signed a development and joint investment agreement worth $15 million to jointly develop the quantum secure component chip "Quantum Computing In Memory" (QCIM). The two agreements cover joint design through certification and BTQ's equity investment, with ICTK providing physical cost sharing and priority manufacturing capabilities.
This cooperation aims to address the increasingly severe network security threats in the era of quantum computing, particularly focusing on protecting digital assets and the stablecoin market. In addition, this collaboration complements South Korea's efforts to accelerate the deployment of quantum security technology in defense, finance, and communication sectors, enhancing the commercialization speed and strategic autonomy of quantum security technology.
