BitMine Increases ETH Holdings by Over 26,000, Total Holdings Exceed 5.2 Million ETH

As of May 10, Eastern Time, BitMine's total cryptocurrency and cash holdings, including the "Moon Landing Plan," amount to $13.4 billion. BitMine holds 5,206,790 ETH (an increase of 26,659 ETH from last week), which represents 4.31% of the total Ethereum supply of 120.7 million ETH. Additionally, BitMine holds 201 BTC, shares in Beast Industries valued at $200 million, $88 million in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS), and $775 million in unsecured cash. As of May 10, 2026, the total amount of staked ETH by BitMine is 4,712,917 ETH, valued at $11.1 billion based on a price of $2,366 per ETH.

This means they must make difficult choices. Some projects and individuals they highly respect may no longer belong to the foundation's system in the future. In fact, if they want important tasks to attract external capital, it may be necessary to keep some talented individuals, influential public figures, and those who share the mission and CROPS philosophy outside the foundation. This also means that the Ethereum Foundation will take a clearer and more principled stance on a cultural level.
