DigiFinex: Weathering the Crypto Storm and Paving the Way Forward

Validated Project

SINGAPORE, September 12, 2023 — DigiFinex, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, made its debut at the Token2049 Singapore Side Event, one of the largest Web3 summits in Asia. The event was co-hosted with renowned Japanese Web3 startups, Teamz and Twic, attracting more than 1,000 participants for an evening of cocktails, canapés, and conversation about the future of the industry.

Kiana, the brand ambassador for DigiFinex, addressed the attendees, reflecting on the company’s journey in the crypto world and sharing her optimistic outlook on the industry’s future.

“DigiFinex has grown stronger through adversity, reflecting our dedication to our users,” said Kiana. “In the face of industry-wide challenges, we have stood strong as a resilient business. This strength was recognized when DigiFinex Canada was granted a Pre-Registration Undertaking by the Canadian regulator, a testament to our willingness to actively engage with regulators and our commitment to compliance.”

Kiana also discussed the future of the crypto market, debunking the fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) around an impending ‘Crypto Winter’. She highlighted the increasing number of Bitcoin wallets and the record-high crypto economic activity as indicators of a maturing market, signaling positivity for Bitcoin.

In her address, Kiana touched on the disturbing trend of bank failures and the devaluation of traditional currencies. “The recent wave of bank crashes and the devaluation of non-dollar currencies due to the Federal Reserve’s policies have resulted in a wakeup call for many, who are now looking to take control of their own assets,” Kiana stated.

According to Kiana, amidst these financial storms, Bitcoin has emerged as a financial lifeboat. Despite the crypto market feeling the effects of the US dollar’s interest rate increases, Bitcoin has become a shield against the flood of fiat money, outperforming other major assets in the first half of this year.

Kiana ended her speech by introducing the DigiFinex Card, a product of DigiFinex’s partnership with Visa. Available to global users without transaction count or amount restrictions, the DigiFinex Visa Card simplifies crypto spending, breaking down geographical boundaries and payment complexities.

“DigiFinex has remained steadfast amidst storms, providing a haven of trust and reliability even in the face of uncertainty,” said Kiana. “We are stronger than ever, ready to usher in a new era of digital finance.”
