UK-listed IG Group launches cryptocurrency trading for retail investors

the UK-listed trading and financial services company IG Group is introducing cryptocurrency trading to retail investors, expanding its influence in the digital asset field. IG announced on June 2 that IG clients can now access 31 types of crypto assets, including Bitcoin.

IG's latest cryptocurrency product is launched in partnership with the US cryptocurrency company Uphold, which is regulated in the US and UK. The product is integrated on the IG platform and IG Invest application, allowing customers to switch from a crypto account to any other IG account, including stock trading accounts.
