Starknet.js V5.24.3 version supports RPC V0.5.1

Starknet Chinese has posted on X platform, stating that Starknet.js V5.24.3 version supports RPC V0.5.1 and now supports using RPC as a default provider instead of a sorter.

Pragma oracle has been launched on Starknet mainnet

According to official sources, the Pragma oracle service has been launched on the Starknet mainnet. As part of Starknet's future plans, the network intends to add STRK as a new fee token outside of ETH, and this mechanism requires an oracle to provide real-time STRK <> ETH price feeds. In the short term, Starknet plans to use the semi-decentralized Pragma oracle as a temporary solution, while a long-term decentralized solution will need to be achieved through future governance.

Starknet: Beware of fake accounts on Discord, Telegram and X platform

Starknet posted on X platform that there are many fraudulent accounts on X platform, Discord, and Telegram claiming to issue tokens and conduct airdrops. Users need to be alert to the risks and report these fraudulent accounts.

zkLink launches L3 network Nexus, which can connect to common ZK Rollup solutions such as zkSync and Starknet

On November 16th, zkLink, a multi-chain transaction infrastructure based on zero-knowledge proof, launched the Layer3 network Nexus, which aims to connect various general zero-knowledge (ZK) Ethereum Rollup solutions, including zkSync, Starknet, and Polygon zkEVM. Nexus will only choose one of the Layer2 networks to perform the zk-SNARK verification process, which is lower in cost compared to directly performing verification on the Ethereum mainnet. This allows tokens to be easily transferred between one zkLink Rollup and another, and DeFi applications (including DEX and NFT markets) will be able to minimize liquidity fragmentation when sending transactions between different blockchains.

Starknet will begin migrating to Sepolia testnet on November 15th

Starknet has announced on the X platform that after Goerli is discontinued, it will migrate its test network to Sepolia. The Goerli test network will be discontinued at the end of 2023, and Starknet encourages developers to migrate to the Sepolia test network as soon as possible. Starknet will begin migrating to the Sepolia test network on November 15, 2023. At that time, full nodes, API services, SDKs, and other Starknet development tools will also begin to migrate to Sepolia. The Sepolia test network will support all Cairo V0, V2.0.0, and higher versions.

Starknet bridge TVL reaches 798,996ETH

Dune data shows that the total value locked (TVL) of Starknet's bridging has reached 798,996 ETH, with a total of 1,176,461 users on the bridging platform. In addition, the current TVL of Arbitrum bridging is 3,044,848 ETH, Optimism is 639,451 ETH, zkSync is 2,284,790 ETH, and Base is 237,376 ETH.

Starknet: V0.13.0 mainnet is planned to be launched on January 22, 2024, and will support STRK to pay transaction fees

On November 12th, the Starknet community forum released information on the next versions (V0.12.3, V0.13.0) and the migration of the Sepolia testnet. This includes: 1. V0.12.3 will bring a very important change, which is the deprecation of the feeder gateway. Builders should migrate to API services or run a full node independently. V0.12.3 also introduces some changes to the _validate_ of account contracts; 2. V0.13.0 will include a new transaction type, V3. This transaction type lays the foundation for future features on the roadmap, including paying transaction fees with STRK other than ETH, fee markets, paymasters, and nonce generalization. Additionally, V0.13.0 will come with a new Cairo version, V2.4.0, which introduces string literals and basic string operations. 3. The following are the planned upgrade dates for the network: - November 19, 2023: V0.12.3 Goerli testnet; - December 11, 2023: V0.12.3 mainnet. Please note that this is one week earlier than the previously communicated date; - December 5, 2023: V0.13.0 Goerli testnet. If necessary, this date may be postponed by one week to December 13; - January 22, 2024: V0.13.0 mainnet, awaiting governance vote. 4. In addition to version updates, after Goerli is deprecated, Starknet will migrate the testnet to Sepolia. The Goerli testnet will be supported until the end of 2023, and developers are encouraged to migrate to Sepolia as much as possible. Starknet will begin migrating to the Sepolia testnet on November 15, 2023. At that time, full nodes, API services, SDKs, and other Starknet development tools will also begin migrating to Sepolia.

Starknet Development Team: Juno v0.7.4 is online to improve scalability

The Starknet development team Nethermind Starknet announced the launch of Juno v0.7.4 on the X platform. This version brings improved scalability, allowing Juno nodes to connect to the main node's database via gRPC, allowing them to serve RPC requests without synchronization.
