Starknet Foundation announced the establishment of a DeFi committee on social media. The committee is chaired by six members and its main purpose is to guide and develop the decentralized financial ecosystem on Starknet.

Starknet development team: Juno v0.7.3 is online and will support Starknet v0.12.3

Nethermind Starknet announced on X platform that Juno v0.7.3 has been launched, supporting the upcoming Starknet v0.12.3. This update also enhances RPC performance through a new global class cache, resulting in higher request processing capacity and optimized resource usage. Juno v0.7.3 also updated blockifier, including wallet integration fixes.

LambdaClass enables full STARK compatibility between Stone and Platinum provers

Starknet Chinese posted on X platform that the LambdaClass team has achieved full compatibility between the Stone and Platinum provers in STARK. The Lambdaworks Stark Platinum Prover is currently adding CairoVM constraints, built-in programs, and layouts, and supports using Lambda Stark Platinum to generate proofs and using Stone for verification. Earlier on November 1, LambdaClass founder Federico Carrone announced that he would donate over 20,000 TIA tokens received from airdrops to the Protocol Guild, an organization of Ethereum core protocol contributors.

Starknet Foundation will distribute its unreleased 50 million STRK tokens to early ecosystem contributors. A New Proposal From the Starknet Community Proposes Using the STRK Token as a Fee Token

Odaily Planet Daily News reported that Ohad Barta, the leader of the Starknet community, has released a new proposal on the official governance forum. The proposal suggests that the newly introduced V3 transactions be paid for with STRK (i.e. accounts must have STRK balance). The old version transactions will continue to support payment with ETH. The main content of the proposal is to use the native token of Starknet, STRK, as a payment token on Starknet, as one of its main uses.
