Starknet opens vote for migrating v0.13.0 testnet to mainnet

Starknet opened the v0.13.0 testnet migration vote on the governance platform, and the vote will end on January 8th at 20:00 (UTC+8).

Starknet has launched a proposal for the V0.13.0 upgrade, and voting will begin tomorrow

On January 3rd, the Starknet Governance Committee initiated a proposal to activate the Alpha V0.13.0 upgrade on the mainnet at the Governance Hub. The voting will begin on January 4th at 12:00 UTC (20:00 Beijing time) and will continue until January 8th at 12:00 UTC (20:00 Beijing time). Earlier, Starknet had announced plans to upgrade to V0.13.0 on January 22nd, which mainly involves adding V3 transaction types to enable future upgrades such as adding STRK as a gas token outside of ETH on the Starknet network.

Starknet community proposes Starknet-based inscription standard SNRC-20

The Starknet community recently released the SNRC-20 standard, which provides adaptability to the inscription for the Starknet chain, and proposes concepts such as inscription chain computing and transfer of inscription information across Starknet-Ethereum.According to social media, the standard has been forwarded and followed by the founder of StarkWare and the official account of Starknet.

The number of active accounts in the Starknet ecosystem has exceeded 69,000 in 2023

Nethermind, a blockchain tool and infrastructure developer, released an article reviewing the progress of Starknet 2023, showing that the number of active accounts has exceeded 69,000 and the block creation time has been reduced from 2000 seconds to 97.09 seconds.

Starknet chain NFT inscription STRKS will start minting tonight at 8pm

According to official sources, the first officially verified Starknet logo NFT inscription, STRKS, will begin casting at 8 pm Beijing time tonight. The total amount of STRKS is 21,000, with a maximum of 1,000 STRKS Coins per card; after the STRKS inscription is engraved, it will be automatically verified, and it will be first come, first served. The STRKS inscription platform is STARK20 Protocol, which is Starknet's first NFT inscription service platform, inspired by SOLS, and created the Starknet NFT inscription paradigm standard.

Starknet bridge TVL reaches 847,100 ETH

Dune data shows that the total value locked (TVL) of Starknet's bridge has reached 847,172 ETH, with a total of 1,210,682 users on the chain. In addition, the current TVL of zkSync's on-chain bridge is 2,595,446 ETH, Arbitrum is 3,169,602 ETH, Optimism is 685,635 ETH, and Base is 272,750 ETH.

The Starknet mainnet v0.13 update will be carried out on January 10, 2024, and will support STRK for gas payment.

According to Starknet's v0.13 mainnet schedule shared in its community on December 19th, the Starknet mainnet v0.13 update will take place on January 10th, 2024, at which time Starknet will support STRK token payment for gas.

Starknet V0.12.3 upgrade will be carried out tomorrow

Starknet posted on X platform: "If there are users who are still using the feeder gateway and have not migrated to one of the alternative solutions, please take action as soon as possible. On December 19, 2023, the feeder gateway will close most queries on the main network, and the network will be upgraded to V0.12.3. Similarly, if there are users who have not switched to using a full node or RPC service, please switch before the feeder gateway is deprecated. If there are any questions or concerns, please post comments on the community forum."

Starknet announced that Starknet v0.13.0 has been launched on the test network.

Starknet’s testnet is migrating to Sepolia

Nethermind Starknet posted on X platform that the Sepolia endpoint on Nethermind's Starknet RPC has been launched and synchronized. The Starknet testnet is being migrated to Sepolia, and support for Goerli will end after 2023.
