George is a serial entrepreneur and academic in Computer Science with more than 5 years experience in the Smart Grid sector. He has worked on applied algorithms and business solutions in the domains of automated demand response, load disaggregation and prosumer cooperations.

Dr. George Koutitas has served as a scientific researcher in European research projects in the domain of Energy Efficient Networking and Smart Grids.Currently, he is also an adjunct Professor at Texas State University.
