In less than 3 years, Tinder became the top-grossing mobile app in the world, created over $11 billion dollars in market value and led to hundreds of millions of connections worldwide. Brian is considered one of the most authoritative voices in the dynamics surrounding subscription-based business models.

As a creator of blockbuster products like Super Like, Boost, Tinder Gold, Super Likeable. Brian extinguished industry records and redefined the physics of the category. Brian's product philosophy of simple, fun and useful is utilized throughout the industry and has resulted in more than 200 million lifetime downloads. His product team is consistently lauded as world-class and best-in-industry with respect to experience design. At 25, Brian was the youngest GM/VP in the history of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp after the acquisition of his first company Newroo where he served as the GM of MySpace News and FIM Labs. In 2012 Brian built one of the fastest growing Facebook applications in history (Chill) which reached over 30MM people. Thereafter, his Kleiner Perkins funded mobile messaging application Tappy became Tinder’s first acquisition. Brian also co-founded advertising network Ad.ly which was acquired by Nestivity in 2014.

A respected and savvy investor, Brian helped entrepreneurs ignite franchises from AngelList—where he was the first angel investor—to Tinder. Brian's investment vehicle, Norgard Fund, invests in startups ranging from Lyft to SpaceX. Brian graduated with honors from Brown University where he received a prestigious NCIIA Grant awarded to top collegiate innovators.
