Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett wrote on X platform that ETF issuer WisdomTree has been awarded a trust license by the New York Department of Financial Services and will provide customers with services including digital wallet services, issuance and redemption of stablecoins approved by DFS, and management of stablecoin reserves.

Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on social media that ETF issuer WisdomTree is closely working with the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) to provide cryptocurrency-related products and services to New York customers. Sources say that NYDFS is "very close" to approving WisdomTree's Limited Purpose Trust Charter, which means the company will be able to conduct digital asset business in New York State. Currently, only 9 companies have a New York State cryptocurrency limited purpose trust license, including Coinbase and Fidelity Digital Assets from Fidelity.

According to the SEC website, WisdomTree submitted an updated S-1 file for its Bitcoin spot ETF, with a fee standard of 0.5%.

New York-based asset management company WisdomTree submitted a revised application for a physically-backed Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) yesterday. The company manages nearly $97 billion in assets and stated in the report that Coinbase will serve as the custodian for the product. As the custodian, Coinbase will be responsible for storing the digital assets that support the fund's shares. Monitoring and sharing refers to activities that share trading, settlement, and customer identity information to reduce market manipulation risks. The SEC must approve or reject WisdomTree's Bitcoin Trust by January 15th.

Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart stated on X platform that WisdomTree has submitted a revised prospectus (S-1 document) for its physically-backed Bitcoin ETF.
