Osmosis Prepares for v16 Magnesium Upgrade to Introduce Supercharged Liquidity Pools and Tokenomics Revamp

Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange Osmosis is gearing up for its v16 Magnesium upgrade, which will introduce supercharged liquidity pools. This new feature allows users to set positions in spot pricing intervals, granting them greater flexibility over the use of assets. Liquidity providers will also be able to secure positions across an entire price range.

Aptos Network Holds Vote on Major Upgrade for Tokenized Real Estate and Fungible Assets

The Aptos network is currently conducting a vote on a significant upgrade that includes new standards for creating fungible assets. This upgrade is necessary for handling on-chain asset classes such as tokenized real estate. The package, known as v1.5, covers a range of new and updated features that will enhance the capabilities of the Aptos blockchain. One of the changes, AIP-21, will improve the network's abilities when it comes to tokenized securities, real estate, in-game currencies, and other fungible assets. Additionally, staking rewards will decrease by 1.5% annually, which will slightly limit payouts to token stakers who lend their assets to the network's security.

On July 6th, Ethereum developers held their 165th All-Core Developer Executive (ACDE) conference call on Zoom. On ACDE #165, the developers discussed the following: impact analysis on EIP 6466 and 6406, Cancun/Deneb testing work progress, adding builder override flags to the engine API, and inclusion of two ring buffers to the EIP 4788 specification middle.
