Movement Labs will launch Ethereum L2 “M2” based on Move VM

Movement Labs announced plans to launch M2, which is the first Move virtual machine L2 that is applicable to Ethereum and is extended with Celestia as a modular DA. Starting from M2, Movement is building a blockchain ecosystem based on modular Move, where M2 becomes possible through Celestia's Blobstream and modular stack. With modularity at its core, Movement will release public products and tools to promote the adoption of Move programming language in a wider blockchain ecosystem.

Fuel launches Q1 grant program, 10 projects will receive awards of up to $50,000

Fuel, a modular execution layer, has announced the launch of its Q1 funding plan, which includes up to 10 projects. Each project will receive a maximum reward of $50,000 to build new web3 use cases on Ethereum supported by FuelVM. The application period is from November 27th to December 10th. The program focuses on the following areas: Telegram to Fuel (wallets, application viewers, etc.); bridges; wallets; indexers; native liquid staking tokens (LST) and stablecoins; cross-chain communication (notifications/message delivery) for dApps, wallets, and services.

Celestia becomes first modular data availability network integrated with Arbitrum Orbit

According to an official announcement, Celestia has announced its integration with Arbitrum Orbit as the first modular data availability network. This integration provides developers with the option to publish data to Abritrum One, Abritrum Nova, and Celestia. Arbitrum Orbit allows developers to create their own dedicated Orbit chain, which is compatible with one of Arbitrum's layer 2 (L2) chains: Arbitrum One, Arbitrum Nova, Arbitrum Goerli, or Arbitrum Sepolia, thus creating the most advanced scalable blockchain solution on the market.
