Coin Metrics, a crypto data firm, has raised approximately $6.7 million in an offering that included equity and options, among other types of securities. The investors have not been disclosed. Coin Metrics provides data on cryptocurrency markets, networks, and prices and plans to use the funds to enhance its financial intelligence services. The firm previously raised $35 million in a round led by BNY Mellon and Acrew Capital, with additional support from Goldman Sachs, Brevan Howard Digital, Cboe Global Market, Avon Ventures, and others. A representative from Coin Metrics confirmed that a new investor had invested in the company.
