Celestia COO: Celestia is a specialized solution to the DA problem of Layer 2 blockchains

Nick White, the Chief Operating Officer of Celestia, stated at the modular harmony conference held at Hashdroon in the Gangnam district of Seoul on the 29th that when network operators do not share data and blockchain operators cannot prove transaction history, DA problems arise. Using sampling for data validation can effectively propagate block data and make DA problems relatively easy to solve. Nick White emphasized that running blockchain in a modular way can improve scalability, security, and decentralization. Unlike existing monolithic blockchain nodes, if a part fails, the entire blockchain will stop. Celestia separates the consensus layer and execution layer, improving the flexibility and security of the blockchain.
