On August 18th, Sota Watanabe, founder of Astar Network, stated on X platform that two-thirds of the construction work for the ASTR token economy model 2.0 has been completed, with the final third expected to be delivered by the end of the year. Once the new token economy model is activated, the inflation rate of ASTR will be halved, and the network will also introduce a new DApp staking mechanism, which will help with the long-term development of Astar Network. Earlier this week, Sota Watanabe had stated that the construction work for the ASTR token economy model 2.0 version was nearing completion and was ready to be audited. Once the audit is completed, the new token economy model will be updated to the main network.
Astar founder: Version 2.0 of the ASTR token economic model is ready for audit
On November 15th, Sota Watanabe, the founder of Astar Network, posted on social media that the construction of version 2.0 of the ASTR token economic model is nearing completion and is ready for auditing. After the audit is completed, the new token economic model will be updated to the mainnet. It is expected to be completed at the end of this year or the beginning of the first quarter of next year, depending on the audit results.
