Arkham launches bounty plan for FixedFloat attack

Arkham has released a reward plan on the X platform regarding the attack on FixedFloat. The cryptocurrency trading platform FixedFloat was hacked on February 16, 2024, resulting in more than 25 million US dollars being stolen. The reward plan will provide rewards for the following information: information revealing the identity of the attacker who targeted FixedFloat, and any information that leads to the successful return of the funds. Any information submitted by users participating in the reward plan will be shared with the FixedFloat team.

Beosin KYT: FixedFloat attackers have spread funds across several addresses

Beosin KYT anti-money laundering analysis platform shows that FixedFloat suffered a loss of about 409 bitcoins and 1728 ethers after being attacked. Beosin KYT analysis found that the attacker with the address 0x85c4 on the Ethereum network dispersed the stolen 1728 ethers to multiple addresses before transferring the funds to the Exch exchange. The same attacker with the address 0bc1q dispersed the stolen 409 bitcoins to multiple addresses on the Bitcoin network and currently has no further action.

According to on-chain data, cryptocurrency exchange FixedFloat appears to have been exploited for $26.1 million worth of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Due to unexpected fluctuations in funds, the exchange has entered maintenance mode and continues to decline.

The encrypted trading platform FixedFloat officially stated that after three days of coordinated efforts by the team, it successfully thwarted money laundering attempts related to the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group. The total amount of frozen funds is approximately 2 million US dollars.
