Celestia data availability layer integrates with Polygon CDK to reduce network gas charges

On December 13th, Celestia has integrated its data availability layer with Polygon Labs' chain development toolkit (CDK). This integration introduces a dedicated data availability solution for Layer2 projects (such as OKX, Immutable, Astar, IDEX, Palm, etc.) using Polygon CDK to reduce their gas fees.

KuCoin Labs Invests in Bitcoin Layer2 Solutions Provider Dovi for Expansion and Development

KuCoin Labs has invested in Dovi, a provider of solutions for Bitcoin Layer2. The amount of the investment has not been disclosed. Dovi plans to use the funds to expand its operations and development efforts. The company is led by CEO Dovi and offers a community-driven Bitcoin Layer 2 and EVM-compatible smart contract platform, which aims to improve scalability, lower transaction costs, and promote a more secure and decentralized financial ecosystem.

Ethereum L2 TVL is $16.03 billion

L2BEAT data shows that the total value locked (TVL) in Ethereum's Layer2 network is currently $16.03 billion, with a 7-day increase of 7.43%. The top five locked values are: Arbitrum One ($8.48 billion, 7-day increase of 6.1%); OP Mainnet ($4.41 billion, 7-day increase of 9.3%); Base ($648 million, 7-day increase of 4.91%); zkSync Era ($593 million, 7-day increase of 13.72%); dYdX V3 ($360 million, 7-day increase of 6.05%).

L2BEAT data shows that the total value locked (TVL) in Ethereum Layer 2 is now reported at $16.12 billion, with a 7-day increase of 11.29%. The top five locked amounts are: ArbitrumOne ($8.55 billion, 7-day increase of 9.79%); OPMainnet ($4.48 billion, 7-day increase of 15.24%); Base ($650 million, 7-day increase of 7.5%); zkSyncEra ($569 million, 7-day increase of 14.5%); and dYdX ($361 million, 7-day increase of 7.05%).

According to L2BEAT data, the current total value locked (TVL) in Ethereum Layer2 is reported at $16.15 billion, with a 7-day increase of 12.02%. The top five locked assets are: Arbitrum One ($8.52 billion, 7-day increase of 9.92%); OP Mainnet ($4.55 billion, 7-day increase of 18.32%); Base ($651 million, 7-day increase of 7.96%); zkSync Era ($570 million, 7-day increase of 11.28%); and dYdX ($359 million, 7-day increase of 6.9%).

Layer 2 network Blast TVL passes $800 million

According to DeBank data, the total value of assets held by the Blast contract address launched by Pacman, the founder of Blur, on the Layer 2 network, exceeds $800 million, including $715 million worth of ETH deposited into the Lido protocol and $93.13 million worth of assets deposited into the Maker protocol.

Among them, ArbitrumOne has the highest amount locked, with a 3.22% increase in the past 7 days, currently reaching $8.06 billion, also setting a historical high; OP Mainnet ranks second, with a 1.48% increase in the past 7 days, reaching $4 billion. Base ranks third, with a 4.90% increase in the past 7 days, rising to $626 million.

Blast Network TVL tops $700 million
