Sharded public chain QuarkChain will move to Ethereum Layer 2

QuarkChain, a sharded public blockchain, announced a strategic transition to Ethereum Layer2. The plan is to transition in the upcoming Ethereum Cancun upgrade, aiming to improve the speed and efficiency of the Layer2 network, reduce transaction congestion and fees through the adoption of zk Fraud Proof technology and Parallel EVM.

According to CoinGecko data, as of the time of writing, the total market value of Layer 2 (L2) tokens is currently $22,125,552,512, with a 24-hour increase of 11.6% and a 24-hour trading volume of $4,692,499,292.

Mantle: Mantle LSP pledge amount has exceeded 150,000 ETH

Layer 2 network Mantle has officially released data showing that its Mantle LSP liquidity staking protocol on the Ethereum mainnet has currently exceeded 150,000 ETH. The Mantle LSP staking protocol was launched at the beginning of this month, and users can stake ETH on Mantle LSP to receive mETH tokens.

Solana Lianchuang: Solana can act as Ethereum L2

Ethereum L2 TVL exceeded US$18 billion, with an increase of 17.47% on the 7th

L2BEAT data shows that the total value locked (TVL) in Ethereum Layer 2 is currently reported at $18.37 billion, with a 7-day increase of 17.47%. The top five locked values are: Arbitrum One ($8.84 billion, 7-day increase of 8.39%); OP Mainnet ($6 billion, 7-day increase of 36.51%); Base ($740 million, 7-day increase of 5.96%); zkSyncEra ($575 million, 7-day decrease of 14.24%); dYdX ($350 million, 7-day increase of 0.34%).

Lisk will transition from Layer1 to Ethereum Layer2

Lisk is collaborating with Optimism and Gelato to transition from a Layer1 solution to an Ethereum Layer2 solution. As part of the transition, Lisk will migrate its LSK token to Ethereum. The Layer2 testnet deployment plan is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
