Trezor: The third-party ticket portal was accessed without authorization, but user assets were not affected

On January 21, cryptocurrency wallet Trezor announced that they are investigating a security incident that occurred on January 17, where an unauthorized person accessed their third-party ticket portal. Customers' digital assets were not damaged in this incident. Internal audits have shown that only information from customers who interacted with Trezor Support since December 2021 may have been exposed, limited to email addresses and names/nicknames.

Trezor launches error-proof wallet password backup solution Trezor Keep Metal

Trezor has launched a solution for backing up wallet passwords called Trezor Keep Metal. Trezor Keep Metal aims to protect users' recovery seeds and comes in two options: a standard 12-word backup for $99 and a 20-word Shamir-compatible Trezor Safe 3 backup for $249. Keep Metal is designed to ensure that recovery seeds stored on paper are safe under any conditions, thanks to its corrosion-resistant exterior and waterproof seal. The company stated in a statement that these products are now available for pre-order and will be shipped to the public in mid-November.
