Upstream, a Web3 educational company, is set to launch My First DAO, an online course that will teach students how to build a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). The 24-week program will cover topics such as tokenomics, governance structures, and compliance concepts.

Students will be rewarded for participating in the course through a "learn and earn" model, and will need to mint a dolphin-themed non-fungible token (NFT) called DAOphin to enroll. At the end of the course, students can burn their DAOphin NFT for a generative art equivalent with rarity traits built in.

Upstream co-founder Alex Taub believes that the course will help unlock the potential of many Web3 builders who lack the necessary educational materials to build a successful DAO.
