Elementl Raises $33M for Its Cloud-Based Data Platform Based on Dagster Orchestrator

Elementl, a startup that specializes in building a data platform based on the Dagster orchestrator, has raised $33 million in a Series B funding round led by Georgian.

The round also saw participation from new investors 8vc, Human Capital, and Hanover, as well as existing investors Sequoia, Index, Amplify, and Slow, bringing the company’s total funding to $48.8 million.

Elementl's approach to data pipelines is centered around data assets, which provides a ledger of every data asset in the organization and every state transition that it’s gone through, along with all the metadata associated with it. The company plans to use the funding to build out its go-to-market organization.
